About b-52 jiu-jitsu

B-52 Jiu-Jitsu Academy began with a mission that goes far beyond fitness or self-defense. Founded by Marine Corps combat veteran Coach Joshua Adams, this academy was created to provide a place where discipline, respect, and purpose take center stage, a place where personal transformation happens on and off the mat. What started as a vision to help others through martial arts has grown into a thriving community of students, families, and veterans in the heart of Middle Georgia. Every day, lives are changed here, not just because of techniques taught, but because of the values we share.

Coach Josh knew from his own journey that martial arts can serve as a stabilizing force — one that provides the structure and community many people are missing. That’s why B-52 was built from the ground up to welcome all walks of life. From the hesitant first-timer to the seasoned competitor, every student finds a home at B-52. Our mission isn’t just to teach people how to fight. It’s to teach people how to live better, stronger, and more connected lives. With every roll, every lesson, and every conversation, we build people up.

An accomplished competitor herself, Hillary has claimed multiple championships and continues to make her mark in the IBJJF, including notable successes at Masters Worlds, Europeans, and No Gi Worlds.
